General Info & Policies
1. BE COMFORTABLE. New to the gym or getting back into fitness? Feeling unsure about exercising around others? Complimentary workout demos/walkthroughs are available before class upon request for new and beginner members.
2. BE READY. SQUAD workouts are intense! While individuals of all fitness and experience levels and abilities are welcome, it is recommended that new members begin some type of movement/fitness routine 1-2 weeks prior to joining group classes. This can be as simple as walking.
3. BE SAFE. Proper form, appropriate pacing, and building a strong foundation are essential for injury prevention and will be central to every class. While members will receive coaching during each workout and be monitored for safety, everyone is responsible for listening to their body and avoiding overexertion that could lead to injury. All participants (or their guardians) must sign a liability waiver prior to participating in any SQUAD workouts.
4. BE ON TIME. Classes begin promptly at the scheduled start time. Make sure you get the most out of your workout by ensuring you are in the gym and ready to work at start time.
5. CLASS MINIMUMS/MAXIMUMS. SQUAD reserves the right to cancel classes that have fewer than three people enrolled by 8PM the day before. Enrolled participants will be notified of cancellation and will receive a class credit if pre-paid. Class size is capped as noted on the schedule. Spots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
6. NO-SHOWS. Life happens! However, repeated no-shows not related to illness or emergency may result in member being charged.
7. CANCELLATIONS. If SQUAD cancels a class less than 24 hours before the scheduled start time (for reasons other than low attendance), participants who were enrolled in that class at the time of cancellation will not be charged/will receive a credit if pre-paid.
8. PAYMENT. Fees for all services (drop-in, punch cards, and memberships) must be paid in full prior to service starting. Payments can be made online at time of purchase, via Venmo or Zelle, or in person via cash.
